The cafe next to my office offers something called a "healthy cookie." I'm pretty sure there is nothing healthy about them, but they put them next to the "coffee toffee chocolate brownies" and so I always feel better about myself when I take the cookie. I mean, there are cherries in the cookie. That's like half a fruit serving, right?
The "healthy cookie" at the cafe inspired me to find a recipe for my mini cookie monster. Yeah, you'd think sharing a name with a vegetable would eliminate any chance of growing a sweet tooth, but I'm pretty sure every tooth Kale has is a sweet one.
So...I did what every mom does when they want a recipe. I looked on pinterest. Which led me to here - Bakerella's Heathy Cookies. And then Kale and I made the cookies and the entire time I was thinking "what is so %&%$ healthy about these cookies?!" I even made this titled picture for this post:
Then I looked up the link again to post here and that's when I realized - it says HEATHY cookies, NOT HEALTHY.

The cookies were really, really good. I just wish I'd known they weren't "healthy" before I ate an entire dozen for dessert.....
