Blog Angels: Ramblings of an Otter Wifey

Over the past few months, I kept seeing posts from people involved in Blog Angels, but always seemed to miss the deadline to get in on it. I liked the idea of giving back to a smaller blog and offering whatever skills and support I could to help them get where they want to be (or at least help nudge them in that direction). So I was super excited when I finally got in on the most recent round of Blog Angels and was matched up with:

Karen gets triple points for being cool because she (1) lives in CANADA, (2) gave her daughter one of my all-time favourite girl names, and (3) gets to wear yoga pants LIKE IT'S HER JOB (because, well, it is....she's a dance instructor). I've enjoyed following Karen's blog for the past month or so, reading about her trip to Georgia and her feelings about turning 30, and totally resonating with her posts about how frustrating work-life can be

Here's how I showed my love:

  • Started following Ramblings of an Otter Wifey on Google Friend Connect
  • Started following Karen on twitter @craftykarebear
  • Commented on all her new posts
  • Tweeted about her giveaway (which I WON! How's that for karma??)
This is just the half-way point - the great "reveal." There are still 15 days left and now that the cats out of the bag, I'm looking forward to talking with Karen and finding out what more I can do for her.

  4. Hi, I'm visiting from FMW. I'm a Blog Angel too. I've already been following via GFC and would love for you to stop by and follow if you like. I'm also hosting a "30 Day Mom Challenge" that you may want to participate in.
